Studio Adjective drew upon the brand’s sensorial experience with scents as a point of inspiration for the spatial design. The design aims to make “scent” a visible texture that one can experience throughout the in-store journey by eyes and hands. The common diffusion of scent in spray, smoke or liquid are translated into architectural materials like art paints with various textures, translucent resin and frosted stainless steel.

Plaster wall, coarse texture paints with plant settings represents the essence of nature. While manmade materials like stainless steel and resin represents represents minimalism and system. The combination of materials brings together calmness and also vibrant energy into the interior journey. 

​

The spaces are set with bold curve walls coated with beige plaster and coarse texture paint. The curves are highly visible from outside through the minimalistic shopfront and project a sense of calmness in the store. In contrast, frosted stainless steel wall units are inserted into the wall with adjustable shelves made in translucent grey resin.

​

A featured display island is tailor-made for the three different locations. It is composed with an undulated base in texture paint, with a transformable display modules in stainless steel and resin. Each module can be flipped and becomes a tray to be matched with tailor-made resin stands for different products’ display.
